An integration bee is similar to a spelling bee,
but instead of spelling a given word
you integrate a given integral.
Here is how it worked.
Each team sat together in their
honeycomb of 4 desks.
An integral was shown on the screen.
While music played,
each team worked on
the integral.
By the end of the song,
teams put their solutions
into the
cookie jar.
Once their solutions were handed in,
integrators could
eat, drink, talk, sing
or joke around with the King Bee,
until it was time for the next integral.
Teams were awarded points for each correct
answer they put into the cookie jar. Prizes were awarded to
the teams with the top three scores at the end of the
contest.
