Course Syllabus
  The first half of the course will continue from Calculus I by developing applications, techniques, and extensions of Riemann integration. This includes applications such as areas, volumes, arc length, average values, and computation of work in a variable force field. Techniques of integration will cover integration by parts, trigonometric substitutions, partial fractions, methods of numerical integration, and improper integrals.
  The second half of the course will concentrate primarily on sequences and series of real numbers. Emphasis will be on concepts of convergence and divergence of series, and the study of various tests for the modes (absolute, conditional, ...) of convergence/divergence. Concepts will be extended to functions in the form of power series, and Taylor's theorem.

Prerequisites
   Qualification through placement or a grade of C or better in MATH 141.

Course Grading
Three tests (keep highest two, 25% each), Laboratory (15%), Weekly Quizzes (10%), and Final Exam (25%).
Since the lowest test grade is dropped, only in very unusual circumstances will make-up exams be permitted.

Attendance: Classroom attendance for all lectures, labs, and recitations is both expected and required according to the official university 10% rule. Grades can be reduced according to that policy.
