Policy on Tests: No make up tests will be given for any reason. If you miss a test for any reason, you must inform the instructor in writing as soon as possible. There will be three tests and a final exam. If you have a documented reason for missing a test, your final exam score can replace your test score. Please note that without proper documentation, you will receive a score of 0 on any missed test. It is your duty to inform the instructor in writing as soon as possible if you cannot attend a test.
Policy on Quizzes: There will be five quizzes. Each quiz will be worth 50 points. The quizzes will be taken from the assigned homework problems. Only your top four quiz scores will count. There will be no make-up quizzes given for any reason.
Policy on Cellular Phones: Students are required to turn off any cellular phones or pagers during the class period. It is impolite and disruptive to have your phone ring during the class. Repeated offenses might result in disciplinary as well as academic consequences. You are not allowed to use your cell phone at any point during an in class test or quiz.
