Regression on the TI-86 

HOW TO ENTER DATA:

To enter your data -
Press [2ND]-[STAT]-[F2].
Enter your 'x' values in the column labeled xStat, and your 'y' values 
in the column labeled yStat.  Each entry in the column labeled fStat 
should contain a '1'.  To change an entry, use the cursor to highlight 
that entry and enter the new value.  You may also delete entries with 
[DEL] and insert new entries with [2ND]-[DEL].

HOW TO CALCULATE THE REGRESSION CURVE:

[EXIT] to display the home screen.
Press [2ND]-[STAT]-[F1] to view the statistics calculation options.
Press [F3]-[ENTER] for the best-fitting line to your data,
or press [F5]-[ENTER] for the best-fitting exponential function to 
your data, etc.  Write down the formula on paper.
