Week 2 (Wednesday is last day to drop without a grade of W)
Aug. 25 (T)	Read 1.3. Do #1,2,4,7,8 from 1.1. Do #1,4,5,6,8,12,15,17 from 1.2	Quiz 1 due tomorrow. Quiz 2 on 1.1 & 1.2 will be given Thursday.
Aug. 27 (Th)	Read 1.4 and Appendix A. Do #1,3,4,6,7,8,14,19,20,25,28 from 1.3. Do #2,5 from Appendix A. On your calculator, learn how to graph functions, change the window size, use the TRACE key, zoom in, and find roots.	Quiz 3 on 1.3 will be given Tuesday

Sept. 10 (Th)	Read Appendix A and 1.6. Do #1-5 from Appendix A. Do #1,5,12,16,17 from 1.6. Start studying for next Thursday's exam.	Turn in take-home quiz to my mailbox (across from LC412) by 4:00 PM tomorrow. I will have help sessions next Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in LC 412.
Week 5
Sept. 15 (T)	Prepare for Thursday's exam covering 1.1-1.6, appendix A, and basic calculator usage(plotting, tracing, zooming, finding points of intersection, and finding roots.)	Help sessions tonight and tomorrow night from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in LC 412.
Sept. 17 (Th)	Exam 1 - also quiz next time on reading of 2.1 and 2.2.
Week 6
Sept. 22 (T)	Do #1,2,3,5,6,7,8,10,11,12 from 2.1. Do #9,10 from 2.2.	quiz on 2.1 and 2.1 postponed until Thursday

Oct. 27 (T)	Read 5.1. Do #1-25 odd from 5.1.	Quiz Thursday on 5.1.
Oct. 29 (Th)	Read 5.2. Do #31,32,36,43 from 5.1 and #1-19 odd from 5.2.
Week 12 (Tuesday is Election Day)
Nov. 5 (Th)	Read 5.3. Do #1-19 odd from 5.3.	Quiz on 5.1 and 5.2 next time.

Nov. 10 (T)	Read 5.4. Do #33,36 from 5.3. Also do #1-17 odd, 18, 21 from 5.4.	Take-home quiz next time on 5.3 and 5.4.
Nov. 12 (Th)	Prepare for next Thursday's exam covering 3.3, 3.5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4. I gave a handout in class listing the topics for Exam 3.
