| Nov 17 (Thu) | Tuesday's test will cover sections 5.1-5.5 and a little bit of chapter 4. Specifically for chapter 4, if you are given a quantity f(x) you should know that its rate of change is given by f'(x). If f(x) is given as a formula, then you should know the basic derivative rules for x^n, ln(x), e^x, and e^(kx) well enough to determine a formula for f'(x). You should know how to do all assigned homework, as well as the problems from worksheet 1 and quizzes 6, 7, and 8. Sunday's help session will be from 1:00-2:30pm in LeConte 412. | |

There will also be one problem based upon section 4.4 and the cost/revenue questions on worksheet 2. There will not be a help session, but you can get free tutoring in the Math Lab. | |
