Among the best known of Rosa's friends was Horus (above) who bragged
of being a direct descendent of one of the
hawk
headed Gods of
Egypt (a claim not taken seriously by those who
had listened his entire collection of stories). Beyond controversy is
that he was a
red tailed hawk (Buteo
jamaicensis).
