There will be a quiz (most) every week. Your quiz is due: at the start of class on Tuesday (handed-in directly to me) if you habitually view Wednesday classes live by 3pm on Thursday, by fax to (803) 777-6527 or US-mail (see the syllabus for my address) postmarked, if you habitually view Wednesday classes via tape. Of course, the sooner you hand in your quiz, the sooner you will get it back. I will post solutions to quizzes on Fridays.

Homework

Once I have completed the initial lecture on a section, it is your responsibility (even if I forget to remind you) to complete the homework problems from that section by the following live class. The optional Maple Worksheets are available below. You may use a fancy calculator or CAS to help solve a homework or quiz problem; if you do, indicate so on your paper.
