I have found a web site where you can view homework solutions to odd numbered problems in our textbook for free. You will need to:

• go to the web site at http://www.cramster.com/
• create a free account
• Find our textbook.
  • Go to: Textbook Help -> Math.
  • There will be two tabs (Books & Courses). Click on the Courses tab.
  • Select Calculus.
  • Now find our textbook: ''Calculus, Early Transcendentals, 6th ed, by James Stewart".
    Important: as you scroll down you will first come across: ''Calculus, 6th ed, by James Stewart" but this is NOT our book ... keep scrolling down and look for Stewart's 6th ed. "Early Transcendental" book.
• go to solutions

From what I see, you can get solutions to odd probelms for free but have to pay extra for even problems. I assign mostly odd problems anyway so just use the free service. If you do have troubles with an even numbered problem, you can stop by my office and look at the Instructor's Complete Solution Manual.

You young computer-aged students are so good with this kind of stuff that I'm sure you can figure it out - esp since I could! I used a slide ruler in high school!
