Description. The Palmetto Number Theory Series (PANTS) is a series of number theory meetings held at colleges and universities in South Carolina, the Palmetto State. The core members of the PANTS consortium are:

• Clemson University
• College of Charleston
• Furman University
• University of South Carolina.

PANTS is funded for the 2007-2008 academic year by grants from the NSA and NSF (DMS-0703547).

• Registration:   The meeting is free of charge for all participants.

• Participant support: PANTS has a limited budget from which to provide support for travel. Here is a visitor expense form which may be used to request support.

  • Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements.

• Travel:   The University of South Carolina is located in Columbia, South Carolina. The mathematics department is in LeConte College, at the corner of Greene and Pickens Streets. You can also use (for example) Mapquest for directions.

• Parking:   Visitor meter lots (in green) are free on weekends.
