John L. Spouge

John L. Spouge is a tenured senior investigator at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), within the National Institutes of Health. He is an MD-PhD Mathematician, with a specialization in the statistics of sequence and structure databases. He has published widely, in the fields of polymer chemistry, aggregation physics, the modeling of HIV infectivity assays, applied probability, and bioinformatics. The current focus of his research is probability theory as it applies to biological databases.
