Congratulations to Tracy McCoy and Ronda Sanders as winners of this year's Two Thumbs Up Awards! Both were among the USC faculty and staff honored for making a significant difference in the experiences of students with disabilities.

Congratulations to our 2009-2010 Award-Winning Math Majors!...

Congratulations to Andrea Moore, USC's latest recipient of a Knowles Science Teaching Fellowship in Mathematics. Andrea, a 2009 graduate of our program, is currently enrolled in the M.T. program in USC's School of Education. This is the sixth consecutive year that a student in our program has received this honor. Seven of USC's nine Knowles Fellows have come from the Department of Mathematics.

The list of 2010 NSF Graduate Research Fellows includes graduating seniors Joey Montoya and Bradley Setzler and 2008 graduate Christopher Poirel. Overall, USC has 10 new NSF Graduate Research Fellows and 2 Honorable Mentions. Congratulations to all involved!

Congratulations to Hudson Harper, Jim Manning, Joey Montoya, and Luke Whiteside on their first place finish in Math Jeopardy at the Southeastern MAA Conference in Elon, NC on March 26-27, 2010.
