Math Jeopardy Team
Pi Mu Epsilon and the Gamecock Math Club, together with the generous support of the USC Residence Hall Association and the Department of Mathematics, sponsored a Math Jeopardy team at the Mathematical Association of America Southeast Regional Spring 2014 Meeting at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. The USC Team consisted of Charles Arnold, Major Brightwell, Jeffrey Davis, and Reid Harris and was sponsored by PME Faculty Advisor Ronda Sanders. Our team, affectionately known as the Algebros, took first place out of 26 teams! The Math Jeopardy competition is an excellent way to showcase our talented undergraduate students and allow them the opportunity to interact with undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty from other universities throughout the southeast. We are very proud of our team and look forward to sending a new team next year!
