Many of our master's degree recipients work in industry, government, and research or educational institutions. Others have gone on to further graduate studies.
The department makes every effort to assist graduates in finding suitable employment after graduation. In many cases this is accomplished through informal contacts with colleagues in the academic and industrial communities. We also maintain an up-to-date file of academic openings for those desiring teaching positions.
The University's Career Center serves as a liaison between candidates seeking professional employment after graduation and the numerous industrial recruiting teams that visit the campus each year. The center informs graduate students in advance of scheduled visits and arranges individual interviews with employer representatives.
