Abstract: Akira Iwasa will give his proof that every collectionwise Hausdorff (cwH) tree without uncountable chains can be embedded in a direct sum of Aronszajn trees. A corollary is last week's theorem that if every Aronszajn tree is special, then every cwH tree without uncountable chains is metrizable.
