Set Theory and Topology Seminar:
Peter Nyikos will speak on some new wrinkles to the trichotomy theorem on locally compact spaces and about a construction, "the frayed octant," which is the first octant in the square of $\omega_1$ with a finer topology which is sometimes normal, and sometimes not.
