Written Exam

1st place — David Harry Richman. Harry is a senior at Spring Valley High School. He won a four year USC scholarship in the amount of $8000 per year, a $400 cash prize, a 7x7x7 V-cube puzzle, a plaque and a medal.

2nd place — Qian Li Sun. Qian is a junior at Wando High School. He won a four year USC scholarship in the amount of $4000 per year, a $200 cash prize, a 6x6x6 V-cube puzzle, a plaque and a medal.

3rd place — Philip Cross. Philip is a senior at Dreher High School. He won a four year USC scholarship in the amount of $2000 per year, a $100 cash prize, a 5x5x5 V-cube puzzle, a plaque and a medal.

4th place — Ian Taylor. Ian is a senior at A. C. Flora High School. He won a $50 cash prize, a 4x4x4 Rubik's cube and a medal.

5th place — Peter Rassolov. Peter is a junior at the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics. He won a $50 cash prize, a 3x3x3 Rubik's cube and a medal.

6th place — Sean Soni. Sean is a junior at A. C. Flora High School. He won a $50 cash prize, a 2x2x2 Rubik's cube and a medal.

The top 16 scorers on the written exam participated in the Mathematics Tournament. The winner was Sean Soni, a junior at A. C. Flora High School. The runner-up was Peter Rassolov, a junior at Governor's School for Science and Math. Both have received a plaque and a Hanayama cast puzzle. Congratulations!

This score is added to the score from the ciphering portion of our contest to give the team score. Trophies are awarded to the schools with the top team scores from each division.
