Math Lab: The Math Lab is a free tutoring service for all 100-level math courses. No appointment is necessary. See http://www.math.sc.edu/mathlab.html for details.
Homework: A few homework problems will be assigned each class. Be sure to do these problems before the next class. Your solutions will not be collected. Quizzes will be based on homework problems.
Quizzes: There will be a five-minute quiz at the end of most of the lectures. Each quiz will be worth 12 points. Your best 15 scores will be chosen to constitute a quiz grade of a possible 180 points. There will be no makeup quizzes.
Maple Labs and Recitations: These are held by the Teaching Assistant. A total of up to 160 points will be awarded based on the completed assignments and the attendance. See the syllabus of the TA for details.
